I would consider going to a BIG (insert letter here) department store if Dural is to far for you,you can buy some nice combos for under $100 which are marketed by an ex rugby league player which have a great range of general purpose rods,then spend the change on some tackle and or a plastics assortment.
  4. that shop was pretty much behind my nans house at the time,she lived opposite the swimming pool on river street I think it was called.spent many a holiday at the pooll,cost about 20cents for the day swimming including going home for lunch and back again.
  5. Uncle Garry used to work in the butchers at Cundletown I think,(may have been other side of town) it was when I was a boy,I was to young to remember uncle Wayne with greyhounds,he lives at Coffs harbour now,Garry works at the RSL on the front desk.
  6. I would suggest try a new fuel line set up with new primer bulb,sounds like fuel run back due to air leak,not holding vacuum in the fuel line.
  7. Some pics from Taree ABT,Snag weighed in a 980 gram bag on Sunday. Iceman weighed in a 920 gram bag on Sunday. Also photo of Iceman,Snag, Roberta and myself. Also some random shots, my uncle Garry, This is the biggest bream weighed,1.32 kg thumper.

  9. Hi Roberta,I went down for a look in arvo,was too hot to be down there all day,stayed at home in a/c most of the day,I will be back down on Sunday for the weigh in,will get jewy to take pictures. any photos of icemans or snags boat so I know who to look for?

The river is looking ok,but they are forecasting strong winds and possible rain and chance of storms. there is apparently 58 boats registered so far. havent heard of any big thumpers being caught lately.better off towards manning point end of the river for better fish,the racks just in the mouth at Harrington along the manning point side of the entrance. not very deep,sand bar visible on run out tide.about 20 minute run at most in a quick boat from Taree. Also forgot,a 1.6 bullshark was caught at Croki last week,keep fingers and toes out of water.

  17. They are at Andrews reserve which is at Taree west,we will be having a look at the ABT next week,cant wait to see some of the big boats.

Hi,hope this is right spot,I would like to suggest that any thing posted in the for sale section should have a price with it,it is a bit annoying when you look at stuff for sale and there is no hint of a price.what about also making a separate category for General stuff for sale, one for fishing gear and maybe one category for boat gear for sale?
