  1. Nice work on the fin, Think we saw you guys coming back in (black sailfish?). We trolled all over browns and east then south, Water temp was so warm 24.7. We headed back towards botany wide fad and had 2 hits in 23.7 degrees but no hooks . How good were the conditions. It took me just on 45 mins to get to browns this morning. Was great being able to do 28 knotts coming home . Benny.. Anakiwa/Bender..
  2. Nice fish there mate orsm. I fished saturday just before browns found a temp break of 1 degrees Instant hook up. Pulled the hooks after 2 mins, Mind you this was at 7am. So keeped trolling around for nothing. Headded east of browns found the fin jumping out of the water. Hooked up landed 22.5kg (weighed). My first ever yellowfin. Then nothing all day till found a current line on the shelf, on the way back in Dollie after dollie, Biggest 93cm's. And a marlin just swimming around the boat while we were catching them but he didnt even look at us, i almost ran him over he was that close. Cheers Benny. Bender/Anakiwa..
  3. No problems there around $6, Let me know how ya go and wat ya think of it. i was truly amazed. Cheers Ben.
  4. Hi all. Looks good, But for better pressure go to bunnings and buy this thing its a little blue nozzle and its shaped like a half moon, It turns my rule 500gp/h into a gurny (not that good but good). Now i just put a rule 800gp/h on it. And it also works well when you get back to sure and put it onto your home hose for washing the boat down after a good days fishing.

  12. few years back saw a massive amount of salmon crusine up the river under the foot bridge. And a mate of mine while we were flicking plastics up chippy norton lakes caught a nice salmon (4-5 yrs ago). Yeah i seen a big turtle up the moons about 2 month's ago, Very weird. I was talking to the water police and it just popped up right near us. We wouldnt know what travels up and down the georges these days, Seen dolphins around tom uglys. Must mean the water quality isnt be to bad. Benny

    Optimax Problem

Hey Huey. Yeah the cylinder drop out test didnt work To find the coil problem. It ran fine when they did that It was just A bit of luck that when they had the computer pluged into it. It mist and he did something with the history and it showed up. But other than that he said you wouldnt have found it.. It was good cause they did all the testing at my house so i could see what they were doing. It was there second attempt to find the problem. Now all i have do find out now is is it using to much oil.. Cheers Benny Bender/Anakiwa.

    Optimax Problem

I have a 09 model optimax 200hp. I had the same thing as you and when they tested it it said no faults after a few thing they tested. It ended up being a faulty coil but couldnt find which one so they replaced all 6. But it never came up as a fault. The guy who fixed mine is an opit genues. Now its perfect.. Benny bender/Anakiwa
  21. Hey i have a 6.5m carribbean reef runner she weighs 2.7t on the trailer.(put on weigh bridge). I have a ford maverick aka gq patrol. She tows it great. And tops on fuel. From milperra to cullburra 35lts (diesel). The only thing i find is going up a hill shes very slow.(2nd gear 40km/h) And she gets a little hot. Not overheat 3/4. But other than that i would prefer to tow with that rather than my 80series landcruser(petrol).. And the GVM of a vehicle is roughly is 1.5x the weight of the car. So the rta told me. Thats just my 2 cents. Benny.. (Bender/Anakiwa)
  22. I live on the the river and its dirty as. Went for alook out at botany today the water was brown around the mouth. And alot of rubbish floating. Dont thing the fishing will be that good but you just never know. Out past the oil wharf might be ok. Benny
  23. I'd be keen to. You can always learn something new..
  24. Mate you have no idea. Have you ever been hooked up to a fish on a tld25? And we could have gaffed it but what was the point i wasnt going to eat it. I would rather let someone else have a crack at her. We had it at the boat for 5mins taking pics and video. My mate Who has caught a few marlin said he's never seen one so stuborn ever. It didnt even jump once. We drove off this fish over 50 time it just kept going deep under the boat.
