  1. Nice Snapper Why did you keep the sweap ? do you eat them ? are they any good ? I always throw them back
  2. That's a real nice setup, i have had the exact same setup for 2 years now and it's served me well, i know you'll love it. It has taken a beating (hit against things in the boat, hit against the roof 1000 times and i can't break it)
  3. Haha, oh silly Apple. Apple maps are terrible, they'll get better in a few years, but i'm affaid Google will be even further infront by then. Check out these maps, RECOMMENDED BY APPLE ! after they changed to their own mapping system. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/apple-releases-official-list-alternative-map-apps-updates/
  4. Looks like something from Jaws!
  5. Be wary of any cheap Calais Wagons on Eb.y, low kms and only launched once
  6. Yeah sounds good mate getting my P's (hopefully i pass) in 2 or so weeks and my last exam is on the last day of HSC which is the 8th of next month, bit busy after that but will find some spare time for fishing (always time for fishing )
  7. Nice size Flathead, and it looks like they cooked up great
  8. Thanks everyone I would love to give copies out but sadly printing is $150 per magazine, i would need a massive order to get it cheaper. Might have to look at getting it published, will need to get HSC over first but i'm keen
  9. Hey guys I'm not sure but i think i posted something on here about me being in DT (Design Tech) at school. This subject required me to design my own project and i decided the best thing to design would be something involving fishing. Anyway 12 months later and here is the finished project, a fishing magazine i wrote, designed, and got printed. I think it turned out pretty good, took a while but it was worth it.
  10. Sorry i had to make a few post with the pictures, i didn't want to make them too small.
  11. Hey guys Went down to Windang last week to give the boat a run and to see if the fish were around. I didn't have to much luck only getting a few Bream and Flathead. But it was a nice day to be out on the water, wasn't too cold even though it was a little windy.
  12. Damn, nice Kingie bait mate, that or dinner !
  13. It's okay boys, we didn't need another premiership, we only got 20 of em
  14. If we didn't lose Reynolds, we would of won. Simple as that.
  15. Go the bunnies. Would be so good to see them win a grand final the week after i finish year 12.
  16. Awesome! i need to get down there
  17. There would be fish/sharks around it, but i would imagine it starting to smell after a while though !
  18. Thanks guys Got some quotes for printing today, $100 ..
  19. The eBook version isn't coming along that well through, having a hard time getting it to work probably. Will have to try my sisters iPad later and see if it's a problem with the file or just my tablet.
  20. As some of you may know earlier this year i asked for advice, photos and some other things in order to get my DT major project of designing and publishing a fishing magazine underway, well i'm almost finished. I still have abit to do and some of the layouts need to be changed abit. Due to folio work, another major project, and general study i haven't had much time to work on it. I just finished my other major project and now i have abit more time to focus on my magazine. Anyway just wanna post up to see what you guys think sorry the screenshots are so small, i don't wanna sit here all day uploading them.
  21. Thanks Yeah mate, i just done that selection last week
  22. Thanks mate Quick bump, only need a few more done please
  23. As most of you guys know i am designing a fishing magazine for my DT major project and i'm almost finished ! i'm doing my folio now and need to do a survey so if you guys could read my design brief below and quickly do the survey i'd really appreciate it ! Design Brief My aim is to create a beginners guide to fishing. The magazine I am going to be designing should be very appropriate for people that have never been fishing before and really want to give it a try or have started fishing and want to learn more. It should be very easy to read and it should help anyone catch a fish. When my magazine is finished I am hoping it has the following: • A normal, waterproof & eBook version. • The waterproof version is fully waterproof and outlasts some various tests. • It looks good with the use of high quality images. • It is easy to read/use with a step by step guide. • It is around 60-70 pages long. The target market for my magazine will be people of all ages that have started fishing and just started and want to get into fishing around Sydney and want to fish the many inshore waterways on offer. The reason I decided to go with a fishing magazine was because I love fishing and I believe more people should get into the sport instead of staying at home and playing computer games or watching TV. Being outdoors is enjoyable and it is good for your health. It keeps me relaxed and happy and I want other people to experience this feeling. In order for me to start designing my project I need the right programs and information. Without the right programs and information I won’t be able to make a good magazine which will result in poor marks for my project. Not only will this bring down my HSC mark it will also affect my class average. This will affect my classmate’s marks.
