Hey guys, i got back yesterday from my 2 week yearly holiday at Forster. Life is hard when this is how you spend your Christmas Day, this is the view from our Campervan. And the boat ramp is no more then 50 meters away. 5:30 every (most haha) mornings i would wheel my tinny down on the tinny wheels and head out for a fish. Most mornings looked like this And got better as the sun came up There wouldn't be a more relaxing way to spend a morning Got a few nice Flathead around the 50cm mark over the 2 weeks And the biggest one i got was 60cm This was one of my better mornings fishing

Where were you staying mate ? i was up Forster for 2 weeks and i scored quite well

The morning started off at 6:30, by the time we got the boat ramp it was full of idiots that have no idea what their doing. It was pretty funny watching them trying to launch though. As soon as we got out on the water it looked as if we were in for a good day. First spot was Sow & Pigs for a couple of good hours. We burleyed up here hard and fished lightly weighted Pilchards. Only one rod had 4lb line on it and of course, that was the one that got hit. The kings want nothing to do with the heavier line. Anyway we only managed to land a few undersized Snapper. We got about 20 of the buggers actually. I thought it would be a good idea to drop a bait to the bottom and was rewarded within 2 cast. A nice 30cm Flounder for dinner. Moved to the wreck shortly after and tried fishing for some live bait. Within 5 minutes i had a ball of Pilchards around the boat, but i could only catch one within the time they were they. They went else where after 5 minutes. I wish i had my small bait net on me (as soon as i touched the Pilchard all the scales fell off and he almost died as i put him out live). I won't forget that next trip. Had something hit the Pilchard but no hook ups. It just seems like it wasn't my day. Went to the beach and i had a test of my underwater camera again. It's still abit too cold to actually get in the water more to get a decent photo. But after all, it was a nice day out on the water.

Safety - Red pages. Thanks for your input everyone

Just going to limit it to 80 pages. Because it's going to be aimed at first time fisherman, i am going to only do Saltwater Estuarys and Lakes mate

Now, can people send me photos they would let me use in the magazine ? post up your best photos ! and i'll put your name in the magazine, i will be trying my hardest to get this into some stores (might be a big ask, but i can only try. I am going to work really hard on this) Photos with Estuary Fish, Photos of Estuary Fish, Fishing Location Photos, I'll need everyhing. If i want to sell this magazine i need to own or have permission to use every photo i put in the magazine. Thanks raiders !

Pike, they smell so bad as well mate. They are not worth eating in my opinion but they make great bait.
