  3. Hey Guys headed down to a land based spot at bout 4pm this avo. Sent out a 3" minnow pumpkinseed, ended up losing 2 of them to toadfish and a camo sandword . Got a couple of nice hits, my new Daiwa Procaster MLFS 702 was superb (thanks GoFish for the good deal). Ended up catching a few bloody toadie's with bait. The bloke next to me was fishing with 5" jerk shad and caught a nice 55cm sambo which went back into the drink, gave him a nice fight on 3 pound line.

  13. Hey guys im interested in getting into soft plastic fishing and wish to purchase a rod to suit, to be used in estuaries and off jettys. I was just wondering what rod you guys advise for $100 budget and what line class to look for. Also i heard that graphite is better than fiberglass but how much better is full graphite compared to composite graphite? The rods i had in mind were the Shimano Catana, Shimano Sonic Pro, SFS (BCF exclusive) and the Ugly Stick Gold. thanx in advance
