  1. From a relative of mine: Last 2 weeks - Beach fishing - live worms - 130 fish Bream, Whiting, Dart
  2. Happy birthday! You share the exact birthday as me 22-12-91 !!
  3. I'm pretty sure Chopper75 has eaten quite a few fish from there. I've also heard someone got some bad infection from a cut on a boat ramp there. When i fished there - it had rained recently and there was a disgusting layer of fifth sitting on the top of the water.
  4. My little brother broke my Daiwa Procaster 702MLFS in the butt section, when trying to release a snag . Ended up getting a Catana to replace it - not as good as a full graphite rod, but does the job
  5. Mate good fish there, top stuff expecially for a quick session !!
  6. I hate theives But dont worry mate, they got a one way ticket to hell !!
  7. Ahh dont worry mate - atleast you caught something. Ive fished Wisemans about 5 times and never hooked anything. I dont have a boat or many fishing skills but it just seems soo dead everytime ive fished there
  8. Webbs Creek....... Lets just say I fished it 2 months ago.... No even a touch - we had prawns, worms, plastics and a hard body surface lures. The water was very very fresh and i no nothing about catching bass anyway, so thats atleast one glimer of possible hope. I have a relative that lived near there briefly and he has told me about Flatties and Bream being taken out of there. I also fished it last December and there were heaps of big Mullet jumping on a run-out tide and i was fishing with Plastics, but didnt get a touch. I think its better suited for the Bass Fisho...... According to Roberta there are some big holes on the bends so that would be worth a shot if youve got a boat.
  9. Dude some nice fish there, but OMG that Flattie is tiny! I cannot understand how you caught that haha
  10. Hey raiders spent the afternoon flicking plastics with my little brother down at Roseville. Heaps of big mullet jumping and annoying toadfish around. Starting with 70mm Squidgy Fish in Grasshopper. Got a few decent hits and dropped one close to shore, that tore the plastic apart, but no good hookups Then switched to the trusty 70mm Squidgy Flickbait in Flashprawn and downgraded jig head from 6 gram to 2gram. That brought about immediate success. After countless hours spent fishing and buying rods, jigheads and lures, a fish was landed.......problem was it my brother with the rod in hand . A little tailor became his first fish on SP. Not long later i got rod back. Things weren't going to plan so i decided to speed the retrieval up and whack, i caught a little tailor too! One strange thing that did happen was, I tied on an 80mm bloodworm wriggler and was just mucking around and decided to fish it like a popper across the top. About 10 metres from shore a decent fish burst out of the water but didnt hookup wouldve been kool to see what it was. In all, was finally a nice day to do some fishing and hopefully my bro is hooked on fishing now too
  11. Raw Diced Rump steak, no weight, bream hook on a handline. Recipe for success
  12. always look foward to reading your reports, they are very entertaining. Shame you didnt do better with the fish but im sure you will next time.
  13. WOW as decent snapper in middle harbour... something ive never seen before. Fantastic stuff mate
  14. thats heaps good, esp landbased !
  15. Poppers are pretty expensive, if you tie a bad knot you could lose $15. Has anyone made poppers that theyve caught fish on? if so, howd you do it? thanks
  16. Hey raiders Has anyone fished LB near the berowra waters marina? If so, what fish are around? thanks in advance
  17. If your not catching fish, slow down the retreive. Also make sure you have minimal slack line when retreiving so you can feal the fish bite. One plastic i like is the Squidgy 70mm flickbait - in flashprawn colour. Good luck
  18. ive seen a bloke haul in yellowtail every cast at balmoral wharf a few years ago. He fished with chicken breast and small cut pillies on a bait fish jig. I dunno if anyone knows the guy im talking about, he was a regular down their, i used to see him every time i went. He also had dark skin - maybe i should call missing persons unit? lol
  19. lol sorry, the thing stuufffed up
  20. caught this on a 70mm flickbait with S-factor
