I use a gerber filleting knife which I think is a top knife to own. Bought it in the states ard 5 years. It's an excellent knife and all that is needed is a few strokes on a sharpener before using. regards Darryl

well done for a trip out on the harbour, Kingies in winter. Now thats what i call fishing. To have huge tailors and kigies as a bycatch while fishing for bream is something i'll gladly have anyday on the water. An excellent trip i must say. I just bought a spool of 4lb pink fireline and i didn't even get 4 trips out of it. It just kept breaking. It didn't help that the line colour faded drastically and got all frizzy after the 1st trip. Highly disappointed with the quality of the line. Shortest lifespan for a spool of fireline i ever had. I honestly hope fireline does better QC for their line. The last thing i would want is to look for an alternative line cause its gonna be so difficult to find another line which can replace it regards DArryl

swoffa, at the rate u buy stuff they would love you too mate. Let me know if ever u wanna head down and i'll let u know where the better shops are. Also i probably be bale to get a couple of my friends to try and give u a decent price on some stuff. There are a couple of specialised shops which gives u gd prices and better service. But the most important thing when u go down to singapore is the fab food which is everywhere!!! Man do i miss singapore food. And mates in singapore there is no such thing as singapore noodles!! hi geoff, which shops did u get ur braid from?? My guess would be u got the tuf line from sabre or joe's tackle. Yeah the thing abt sg tackle shops is they are all close to each other. The good thing abt it is it creates lower pricing for singaporeans. The fishing market isn't like here where there are more fishos than tackle shops. As for prices of tackle, i am surprised that u found them on par with tackle sold here. maybe i dun know any gd tackle stores here which gives me gd discounts. I do get significantly gd prices when i go back to singapore. The best deals to me would be the price of fireline in sg with the price almost half of what we pay here. regards DArryl

No way are u gonna test that boat without me mate!!!! Red hot and bet it will fly!!!! nice set out. At least i get to sit down this time on a proper seat. lets u fish the whole area of the boat. whats lacking is a couple more rod holders mate. We need to bring 10 rods each when we use this boat.
