G'day All, Spent thursday at Terrigal fishing at the Skillion. Was chasing drummer using bread but got a nice bream instead, bout 30cm and a small drummer. Caught the bream first thing on arrival at 10am but was quiet for the rest of the day. My mate was fishing the bottom using half pillies on a paternoster rig. All be got was a baby eel which was returned. Some drummer, some bream, no salmon that day but the tackle store at Erina said they had been around terrigal when the seas were rough. Good report Trev, A big haul! I fish down at Clarks Pt, Woolich. Some bream hang around the sailing club caught using running sinker with pilchard or fresh prawn. Have used bread on a no. 10 hook with small float and split shot, only little bream. Got a trevally couple of weeks ago on slimy fillet. Did you fish around the marina trev?

G'day all, Been enjoying the posts and articles, great stuff. I bought a Daiwa proshooter 4000 in Jan and was enjoying it until the bail stopped snapping shut after casting. This happened 4 months after purchase so I took it back to the retailer (Freddys fishing world Auburn). 4 weeks later I got it back, simular experience as Swoffa, but at least it was fixed. So I thought. 3 weeks later same problem. This time though I contacted Daiwa directly through the Fishraider forum. The sales manager is Evan Spary and he looked after everything so this time 10 days later it's delivered to my door as promised and all fixed so if you have warranty problems send it straight to Daiwa and give Evan Spary a PM.
