Hi All Been looking to get some outriggers for my boat for some time Big thank you to Gary from Seriously Stainless who was kind enough to check my boat on friday and go through what would work best I will get my poles from him but due to my boat layout a top mounted base is what I need I think I have made a decision but can not find much information so just wanted to know is any raiders have knowledge or experience with Taco grand slam 170 rigger bases http://tacomarine.com/item--Grand-Slam-170-Outrigger-Kits--GS-170BKA15-1QQSGS-170VEL15-1.html Any advise would be appreciated Best regards David Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

You are not wrong we are happy to get 9 and picked up another 11 legal dollies on saturday in 20 minutes which was on of the crasiest sessions I've ever had but got my heart set on landing our first Marlin or one of the bigger dollies my freinds gave been catching so will keep at it with the hope persistence will pay off eventually Best regards David Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Lucky you got ouy early, we set out at 8.30 and started fishung about 9.15 fished for only about half hour before I pulled the pin, some of the swell on tge way back looled well over 2 meters, we had on wave break over the front of my boat which was very unsettling, drove out at 24 knots and back at 5 knots Dollys were everywhere but happiest part was getting back all in one piece Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Looks like you are almost there, finding the live bait can be tge hardest part Where are you fishing and what are you seeing in your burly trail For little yellor tails the smallest bait jigs work well. If the fish are shy then the tiniest it of bread on the bait jig hooks work a treat, otherwise with hand lines tge same but make sure you use the smallest weight required to keep your bait in tge burely trail as the will not touch it if you have a heavy weight Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Lucky you saw the free jumpers, we went Sunday and got real excited as we thought a Marlin swam right through our spead at the shelf but it was a dolphin Would have been the first time we even got that far so we weny from a big high to real low Got 9 legal but small dollys on the way back so atleast we got a feed Good luck on the weekend weather looks good so far Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
