g'day champ.. i got a viking profish.. absolutely love it..! i was mainly looking for storage room when i was shopping around. u'll think u wont need much, but then you always wanna take heaps of crap out with you... a rod for plastics, and one just in case something bigger comes along... and then a third to catch your livies with a sabiki rig on it.. then u need a net... then you get creative and make a livie tube to keep the livies alive! then u realise you cant find the fish cause you got no sounder.. then u start taking stupid amounts of plastics and lures to cover all the options.. never ends mate... the profish is great IMHO. heaps of storage room, baitboard and cupholders, 30L storage.live bait tank... two hatches behind you for bait/lure storage.. heaps of room in the front/back of the yak for everything else! it comes with 4 built in rod holders and u can add many more... its also got a sounder compartment for your fishfinder/battery etc... you can also have a look at the hobies if you want handsfree peddling... a little more expensive but well worth it i reckon.. let me know when u get one, we'll go out for a flick.. I'd love to, but i dont have that kind of money... that's where the "stupid" part comes in.. buying something you cant afford is stupid, dont u think? Framedtrash - not sure if they are fully waterproof... doesnt say anything about it...

sorry brother... im not the most experienced in the harbour, but since no one else has said anything, i'll have a go lol.. try the wedding cakes... theres 2 of them... they're not hard to find... they look like wedding cakes.. i fish plastics around the cakes... heaps of trevally... around north head theres heaps of sambo's around... look for groups of birds and fish breaking the surface... use metal slices if you got any... they decent sizes so dont go too light.. you muight come across some bonito there aswell.. troll around for the bonnies... you could also try off balmoral... i got some keeper kings there before... i used live yakkas on a paternoster rig.. hope this helps a little bit... good luck kiro

Yeh i've been pretty impressed with the spinfisher 850.. handles big fish well.. really well actually... with regards to the baitrunner, i've always wanted one and my mate bought the new 2500D (i think) a week ago... i had a play with it and its seemed awesome.. smooth and suprisingly casts a mile... and with this dollar the way it is, i found one real cheap overseas.. i'll definately report back soon when i've had the chance to land a nice kingie on it lol... cheers, Kiro

I just purchased the 6000D online, and now waiting for it to be delivered.. I got heaps of other tackle, lures etc... and as long as the dollar is in the 90's, things are heapsss cheap buying them from overseas... i'll let you know once it arrives... cheers, Kiro

hey mate... i got the navman 4432 (black and white) and i love it... real accurate, and very user friendly.. im only guessing, but i'd reckon the 4350 would be even better...
