noo problem wrinks... i agree with u.. thats why i dont use wire trace and i use barbless hooks, whats happenin with the sharks at the moment is gettin blown right of proportion we are invading there territory and by doing so its a risk we are taking it isnt the sharks fault and furthermore most shark attacks are simply sharks wanting 2 no what we are its not evryday they see one of us, dw bout it seriously im glad u sed something in the first place.. points taken,

we were targetin big jewies when we got snapped off sorry for asking about the sharks evry1 dont worry about it actually... i was just wondering is there a problem with fishing for sharks because if its illegal or "unethical' id like to know why, im not being a smart *** or anything i would just like to know if theres a problem

mate it happend 2 me... it was the smallest flathead id ever seen maybe 15cm long max... i thought i had something massive ended up being about the whole beaches sea weed plantation

its not so much wanting 2 catch a shark... we've been down 2 a few of our fav spots and have been hooking up what we think are big sharks that we are unable 2 bring in the outfits so we've decided 2 gear up this time so what ever it is whether it be a massive stingray or a big jewie or a large shark we'll be able 2 know what it is that is tearing our gear 2 shreds... and to the person with the first reply thanks heaps but we'll be using the wire cutters we just want to know what it is... hopefully we snare a big jewie

YEHHHHHH i realised lmao me n sum friends went down tonight... terrible weather raining and windy caught we managed a decent flattie and a few average samon and about 1 tonne of weed... highlight of the night was the massive run i got which was followed by a 30 minute slug fest between me and wat ever was on my line.... i had about 10kg line pretty sure it was a shark... but will never no..... what ever it was won the fight i couldnt do anything but listen 2 my drag go on and on and on thanks 4 the info raiders

Might be goin fishing up at wanda beach soon... gettin a few newcomers into the whole fishing scene and was just wondering if anyone had any tips on basically anything.. ive never been to that beach so im not sure what its like ... thanksssss fishraiders

ive read in a few places that keeping the scales on the fish keeps alot of bacteria and generally keeps the fish fresher for longer... non the less greattt catch

hey fishraiders,,, left sydney yesturday avo at about 3-30pm on a mission to get 2 the warm waters near swansea, we left slightly demorilised due to the weather but nonetheless we carried on. We were blessed no wind or rain just a few clouds... only one problem...NO FISH we were gettin bites all night but they were ridiculously small and we tried everything including freshprawns frozen prawns chicken skirt pilchards squid bread... but all to no avail.. anyone have any ideas of why not cause this spot usually produces a good number of fish

hey fishraiders just thinking about using some chicken, and meat on my next trip out fishing... i fish of a wharf that produces some nice bream whiting flathead trevallies and a mixed bag of pelagics.. ive heard that the chicken can produce some nice bream ive never tried it though i was wondering what part of the chicken should be used and what type of meat, and also if anyone knows any other different types of baits besides the usual prawns squid n pilchard

i pulled up a nice orange chair there... should have entered it into the catch of the month

hey AJ i go beach quite abit,,, but ive never actually used live baits,, i think though that if u rig them as u do a dead bait they will not last as long... the yakkas might go alright,, not too sure about the squid because of the waves... good luck let me know wat happens
