Whats The Size Limit Of Boats Being Left On The Road?

So I've finally bought my first boat, and now trying to decide where to keep it. I've seen heaps of boats left on O'Sullivan road (rose bay) which is really near where i live and also very close to a boat ramp and gas station, so perfect. But my boat is a 20ft Savage Marlin, and I'm wondering if I'm allowed to keep a boat that size on the road? I heard anything under 23ft was acceptable..... anyone know the real story????

Thanks so much for that, I'm going to pick the boat up on Saturday, got a two hour drive to go get it, big boat to tow that far. I'm going to check it over very carefully, its an inline six, though not sure if its diesel or petrol yet, did they put petrol sixes in the Marlin?? The guy has the boat stored in a warehouse, so thankfully it hasn't been left in the water, can't wait to get it, been waiting 14 years to get a boat, always go out on my mates. Again thanks for your info,very helpful.

Hey guys, I'm picking up my Savage Marlin next week, its got a 170hp Volvo Penta petrol in it, just wondering if any one has the specs for this engine and if they know how it performs etc, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hey guys, I'm looking at buying my first boat, nothing to flash just yet, but I've found a 1986 Haines Hunter with a Johnson 115 Sea horse V4. I want it mostly to fish out at the FADS off Sydney harbour and also alot of spearfishing. I've heard the V16R's have really capable hulls and its not too big for a first boat. If anyone has one of these it would be great to have an insiders knowledge of what to look for. What an ace site, put me in touch with the maddest days fishing I ever had last weekend too.
