You may have noticed that members now have a fish name below their avatar and user name. Due to the large number of post counts that everyone is achieving we have added some extra ranks. We also decided to call the ranks after our piscatorial conquests.

Wow a great post and thanks for sharing that with us. Terrific to see that Mum and the gf got a strike too
Love that boat and you were very lucky to find a day full of such action. I understand why you took one look at that first marlin and released it - they do look magnificent up close don't they !

PS You joined fr in 04 - don't wait 5 years to make your next post
Just got this nice email - lets keep showing them what raiders are about
Hi Donna
Thanks so much for your wonderful support – we hope to grow the challenge next year and your assistance would be gratefully appreciated.
Kind regards

Uh uh jewieslayer no talk of that sort of behaviour here please. We would all like to have a go at these scumbags but leave it to the authorities please.
That place is known for its lowlife. If someone wants to be helpful make that call to the police to let them know.

Glad to hear that Tony!
Slinky has stated it clearly and simply and I will add that if a member does not want to share information and experiences with members of our community then DON'T BOTHER POSTING AT ALL.
There are plenty of other fishing sites that one can go brag and post useless info.

The course delivered will be MROCP. It will be delivered by 2 invigilators with many years of experience.
The course is very interesting and I have organised 2 courses for raiders resulting in 100% pass rate. Over 40 raiders already have this certificate including myself (the only female so far).
Here are the links to the reports on the 2008 course.

Hi Littledinghy
Send me details of a short statement and I will start a poll. You might like to link the results in your letter to the authorities.
Send to fishraider@iinet.net.au

This course takes a lot of organising and it would be over 1 full Saturday and one half Sat for the exam,if you are serious and want in ?? make the effort and you will be well rewarded as this license is for life .

Yes it would be difficult to get all makes and models. The one I organised in 2007 was for Lowrance sounders. Here is the report on that night.

I learnt to use our before we even got it. There is this Product Emulator that you download and "operate" using sample maps etc

A group of us are going to a concert called Rock 4 the Eighties in a few weeks.
We will see The Radiators, Matt Finish, Swanee and Gangajang.
Should be a blast
Thanks for the suggestions all.
Some of the workshops we could do:
1.boat licence course
2.MROCP course
3.hands on lures - hb's and surface
4.boat/trailer/motor maint
5.bait catching
6.fishfinders/sounder GPS use
I only need to select venue and organise the appropriate person/s to deliver a course/workshop.
Ahhhh that is good to hear that fishraider has helped you out there
The report of hairtail would have been very exciting and I can only imagine your disappointment heh heh
Cheers mrsswordie
Gotta love that report Roberta. You are the perfect choice for an ambassador for women's fishing in any circumstance!! No frills and you can go in and give the men a run for their money anyday
Thanks for sharing this with us
Donna
