Hey dreaflym i would be using a popper for a while and if the sambos turn up get out the metal slice i have a good mate who lives in saratoga and he wets a line there nearly every arvo with the kids it has all the bread and butter fish get the sp's out for some good flatties the nuclear chicken ones work a treat there and at night the wharf also has schools of squid due to the light good luck Adzzy

Hi emetic for deepeer water i use heavier jig heads than the shallows regardless of deepth i will bounce on the bottom retrieving with a twitch about 2 foot at a time adzzy

Hi reelmagic not sure there is a code of ethics but some people just dont have common sense or respect for others personally i would not do any of the things you just mentioned treat people as you like to be treated i say im sure if the shoe was on the other foot they would be the first to kick up a stink goodluck in the comp adzzy

Hi Darkhorse YES EVERY TIME WITHOUT FAIL when you next buy a new reel take time to read through the manual in most of my manuals they state not to rinse with the hose as you can force the salt water and sand deeper in the reel i only ever use very dilluted washing up liquid in warm water even let the reel sit in it for 10 min i still have reels that are about 10yrs old that still look and run like new Adzzy

Hi A 14 ft tinnie is big enough on the right days check the weather before hand you just need to play it safe and it also good to tag along with another boat incase you do have trouble safty in numbers
