Hi All Had a nice fish last saturday concidering the amount of gear lost to those pesky leather jackets they were every where i hope they bugger off from where they came soon, not did they just steal rigs but also my live squid which i got up extra early for any ways. I hit the harbour at about 430am and by 530 i had 12 squid in the tank all caught on pink yo-zuris. By 7am all the squid had been used for only 1 undersize king so it was back to using last weeks frozen squid which produced 3 big banjo sharks although at the time i thought it could be a nice lizard but this was not to be until latter with 2 little flatties on board by the end of the day the tally was 2 sanpper 2 flathead 3 banjos 1 king 1 octopus and about 30 jackets Adzzy

Simmo I was catching these with a net about 2 weeks ago in the harbour around the wedding cakes as my mate slowly retrieved a lure bait whatever they would follow right up to the boat and WHAM in the net they went a few boats beside could not believe it Adzzy

I think ill give the dory a go this year with my live yabbies from home around all the morings in the harbour Addzy

Can any one please explain why the is on my back about cleaning up the spare/guests toilet at home

Hi all my parents have just bought a property that backs right on to the nepean river and was wondering if it would be a waste of time flicking some lures around? it is a fair way up from the ramp and dont think it can be accessed by boat from penrith due to the weirs but i would be able to slide a tinny down at the back of our property what are your thought? Adzzy

Zephi i have both salt and fresh and the weed grows in both but probably more so in the salt i am going to attempt using it this weekend so i will put a post up next week letting you know if it worked or not Adzzy

Hey yarraone mate if its kings you want then sydney harbour is the go also with easy access to middle harbour which holds good kings and there are still plenty around the jews are becoming more frequent to mate send me a pm when you have dates i would be happy to meet up with you anytime on the weekend or weekday arvo Adzzy

hey squid hunter mate anything made by Ronstan or Burke you cant go wrong with their made for wild sailing conditions but i use it fishing try go fish i think he had some last time i was there adzzy

Hi all i was in a tackle shop this weekend to purchase some flurocarben as i was deciding what to get i noticed 1 perticular brand that could not even get the weights correct the 40lb line was converted to 19kg and the 50lb was converted to 16.5kg it was also the most expensive so i decided to go for the brand that could get it right which was cheaper goes to show the most expensive is not always the best Adzzy

Hey all fished last thursday arvo in the harbour at the entrance to woolwich got a few nice snapper but missed the biggest hit my rod has ever seen and as usual i was rigging another rod and missed it i think it was a jew i was using a fresh squid strip would i be right in thinking it was a jew? Hey all Hit the harbour early yesterday and picked up 4 nice squid in about 1/2 hour and headed to the new wedding cake nothing showing on the sounder but decided to drop anchor anyway because the other markers where chokas we burlyed hard and nothing for bout half hour and then zzzzzzzzzzzzzz a huge king 90cm plus i think busted me off on the marker it was unstopable even using a heavy set up 40lb braid and 60lb leader landed 3 kings at 68 cm in the next hour that is 1 king per squid pretty good for me as they usally get picked off by the pickers. before a swarm of leather jacket appeared they followed the bait each time right to the side of the boat allowing me to use the landing net to catch 4 of them while trying to fish for the leather jackets on my shimano setup 6lb braid using suicide hooks and unweighted peeled prawn a king hits it right at the surface which made for a good 5 min fight which it won Addzy

Hey I agree with Kingpin some of my best sessions have been at low tide from beach, boat and wharf sunrise and sunset are the best but hey we are fishing and some times it's good some times it's bad but would'nt want to be doing anything else goodluck Adzzy

Hi Does anyone know why there is no fishing aloud along the wall directly in front of the casino and around the marina i dont think its a fish sanctuary but there are signs posted along the seating area if this is true is it only land based fishing or boat aswell Cheers Adzzy
