Hey roosterman Lock is removed, the motor was in the down position and it tilted up with no problems at all but when i hit the down key it made all the right sounds but the ram would not move there are no leaks and battery is full any other ideas? Cheers Adzzy

hahaha at least i now know there are others out there not so differant to myself, to funny but dont worry you will never do it again it will be the first thing you check from now on when she does not start

Hi All it has been about 6 months since last used although the motor is started weekly, motor is left in the down position always unless traveling, anyways packed up to go out on sat for a fish and wouldnt you know it the tilt will not return to down position although it is making all the correct and normal sounds it just does not move does anyone have any ideas on where to start with this Cheers

What if he uses 2 or 3 anchores and is tucked away out of the wind what are his chances like then? and surly there are plenty of unused swing moorings around the hawkesbury he could use from time to time

Hi All My office is on the ground floor and from the entry door to the waters edge is about 8 meters (not bad i know) any ways for the past few weeks i have been feeding the local bream every day with bread and was only yesterday in a period of 5min i watched 6 types of fish swim bye bream, leatherjacket, mullet, frigate, kings and pigs so last night i decided to pack a hand reel loaded with 12lb mono and a few slices of bread. well at about 2pm today i decided to sneak out back and throw a line and caught a nice bream approx 1kg boy was i stocked until i turn around and see one of the company executives standing there watching me my first reaction was its ok im on my lunch break he laughed and said "good bream might have to join you tomorrow" turns out he is a very keen fisho as well and has invited me out on his boat this weekend to chase some kings it turned out to be a good thing he caught me but could of easily gone bad so the moral of the story is to be carefull fishing while at work Adzzy

you could always try a whipper sniper in a bucket let me know how it goes

Hey all Did anyone read the fishing column in the Daily Telegraph on Friday stating a 105 kg king fish was caught in the harbour with 4 hooks in its mouth during the week does anyone know if this is true? and if so any more info cheers

Hi i think it would be possible as Sydney aquarium breed cuttle fish there in a 4 ft tank and have done so for years let us know how you go

Hey All Would anyone agree with me when i say that the boat ramp at kissing point Putney really needs some concrete cuts put in like Wharf rd Ermington for better grip? at low tide my hilux 2wd slips pulling out a fiberglass 17ft half cab if i was to go any bigger i think i would have real problems low tide only with all these fees we pay and the waterways or who ever this belongs to can put a few saw cuts in pretty poor if you ask me hey its friday and i feel like a winge and god help me if i ever catch the animals dumping their rubbish at the back of wharf road parking Adzzy

Hi all Hit the harbour on sunday what a day it was the sun was shinning and best of all the boat ramps were dead so i was able to give the trailer some much needed TLC on return which is a lot easier to do without the boat on it thats for sure anyways loaded with some fresh air tight sealed squid from a session last week i ventured out to the cakes only to find those damn LJ's were still around which i should have guessed as there was not 1 boat on any of the cakes which is just unheard of for me anyway so we pulled anchor and headed just south of south head for these 2 nice fish both were released

now now mrsswordie i dont want any of this deleting business its all about compromise you get to hang the smelly things in the toilet mrswordie gets the roll holder for spooling sounds fair to me although im sure he spends more time than is needed in the toilet without have fishing gear in there
