There are loads off mullet and a few bream and flatties for those using poppers or divers like SX40's the hard part is finding them they are all around the rail bridge and along about 200m boths side if you make your way across you'll get some very nice bream there but i wouldn't eat it...

I'd go with catfish they love skooling around otherwise mullet

Just did a rod count missing a rod and reel i was fishing at captain cooks bridge on saturday and left a big abu garcia rod 15kg beach and rock rod with a old shakespeare reel Bought the rod last year for 120$ on special but the reel is priceless given by a really good friend cost him $400 new and done it up many times and gave it to me... Dont want him to know i lost it Much appreciated A.dawg~~~

That triangle fish is one off those mono things theres heaps in the water system atm but nothing decent in the georges... Give port hacking a go Wally's wharf bream, flathead, squid , yellowtail and mullet... I lost my rod and reel at captain cooks T.T my jewwies combo gone anyone seen it??? A.dawg~~~

Nice Day out In an episode off adventure bound the guy caught a kingie and because it swallowed the hook he cut the line and said the hook will rust out in about 2-4 weeks... That kingies is one greedy fella A.dawg~~~

I havnt caught a gar all summer I can only catch them in the winter Maybe i dont know where to find them...

Do you really think stimulate works for Squid??? i havnt had much sucess on it hav only ever caught arrow squid on the arrows go crazy but i find it puts the calamari off ... But stimulate with fresh squid strips and then frozen for the next trip kills the kings A.dawg~~~

After ganging up the gar just use ur trace make a hoop and tie that around the gars nose A.dawg~~~

Picnic at connell's point today brought the rods finished eatting and went to the shore for a fish arrived and the water was receided wth!!!!!!! the shore was filled with washed up dead mullet spotted atleast 20 all about 20-35cm after seeing that didnt want to fish the water so went back for eatting part 2 Anyone know why they are all dead?? A.dawg~~~

Prawns arent that good their smell isnt strong enough i'd prefer using pilchards for bream and flathead in the georges river Bream use running sinker size 0 size 2 hooks and 6lb trace and flathead 2 size 2/0 hooks and 15lb trace Bream use cubes off pilchard or fillet and flathead half a pilchard or whole pilchard on a gang hook Mullet tiny hook unweighted with a piece of bread If your at tom uglies go at dusk stay on the left side and there will be bream and flathead if your lucky you'll see someone catch a jewwie Como baths is also a good place for bream and flathead but you must dump burley in the water and you'll actually see huge bream surfacing. A.dawg~~~

I thought australian record bream was like 5kg LoL probly wrong but on the georges last saturday saw a guy catch a 3.1 kg bream on live squid for jewwies he gutted it to find 2 yellowtails and his live squid in his huge gut A.dawg~~~

Some nice fish and prawns there i hope i get some fish will be fishing there landbased 2morro If no fish no more georges river for atleast a month The fish which busted you sounds more like rays thats about the only thing i catch there huge run and sometimes get headshakes then snag Got a estimate 15kg ray on thursday and one a bit smaller Wingspan would have been 1.5 m's Also called it for jew but a guy fishing next to me told me if the head shakes start in the first run its ray jews shake when they have no more energy for runs and are giving up A.dawg~~~

Anyone finding the georges hard to fish for bream and jewies lately I think it the moon phase but was out the 3 times this weeks today for 6 hours with nothing but undesrsized tailor and tailor chopping my live squid within seconds off landing in the water havnt even caught a legal bream on anything from fresh pillies to servo pillies fresh squid hawksburry prawns and not even live prawns Gunna giv up the georges after 1 more outting with no fish and get back to the old trusty hacking A.dawg~~~

Small kingies are getting more comon in shops When i first saw a kingie which was 30cm's at the fishmarkets i had same thought where did this come from isnt the legal limit 65cm or 60cm at that time A.dawg~~~

They are usually $$20-22 iff you can get em for 18 bucks thats cheap but they are worth it especially for those whjo have just started squiding this will improve your results by heaps tested it with brother i use egi brother doesnt i catch 14 brother catchs 2 next times it him using egi and i use nothing incase its the skill not the egi to make it a fare test i catch 4 brother catches 23 A.dawg~~~

If that is the southern break wall was with a friend fishing there 2 weeks ago i was using pillies he was using a CD9 i caught ) he catch 13 salmon to 83cm and 3 tailor 46cm 47cm and a monster 71cm He said to me when fishing around wollongong and port kembla dont waste money on bait and just get a lure Thats i nice salmon there A.dawg~~~

Aparently they are really good live and fillet bait for kingies Met an old man at a boat ramp at dolans who went fishing the entrance to the hacking for kingies and he said for 30 years i have fished sydney i think sweep are the best bait for kingies and he showed me his 5 massive kingies he had caught biggest 113cm's and smallest 101cm's I asked him kingies eat sweeps fillets and he replied yea they love it and so do the snapper then he pulls out a massive 60cm+ snapper i ask him dont you think squid mackerel and yellowtail are better but he says nothing can beat the old sweep I was surprised since the are so crap eatting (Although ok steamed) why do fish like em Maybe i should try sweep for kingies they are easier to catch than yakkas and slimmeys A.dawg~~~
