    I remember a fishraider member once caught one in the bay trolling lure.

    And if my memory serves me correct it was some where around 95cm. There was a picture also.

    from what i recall it was 101cm and he thought it was a king and let i go had pics also

    hey nathan no luck on jews have been trying to stay away from the masses i had fished the spot you showed me for runs but no hook ups was my fault really havent been to that spot in months now maybe 3

    got a boat too but got dudded gearbox faulty a heap of stuff has happened since we last fished together but i wont go into detail good to hear from you

    also did you let your boat go while looking for outboards i came a cross and ad

    most are right on the subject while my boat cost me all up to date 2800 its half cabin with a 70hp motor but the fellow sold me a dud as the gearbox on the outboard is unreliable sure the prop turns but its missing teeth in the gear case it was hard to tell in his backyard but easy in the water

    the gear box parts are obsolete gotta get a second hand box or a new or rebuilt motor either way its gonna cost me

    i got it so i could take my wife and 11month out in comfort

    some other fellow tried to sell me a boat and the motor had poor compression i had a compression on me to test it i left in a hurry and thanked him for wasting my time

    ive looked at heaps of boats under the 5k range and the best and well maintained ones go as fast as they pop up

    my mate got a boat for 4k 70 hp evinrude 4.7m and its goes beautifully not a thing wrong bar trailer issues but that is common they are out there but you gotta be picky as

    get history on it paper work adds up to a mechanic actaully servicing not a some shmo changing the plugs and saying its gets serviced i just lost the last bit of paperwork

    my fav reel has to be my penn live liner 560 good line cap decent drag and handle folds too win win

    wish my saltist had a folding handle but that would make it weaker (maybe)

    well done on ya first jewie and what a jewie too 96cm just 4cm more for the metre and your a champ for releasing it to my hat goes off to you

    my first was only 68cm and i was cheering for about week so i know how you feel but i took mine and feed the family

    hey raiders

    picked up some poddy mullet earlier on the prior the going out that night to use as livies

    hit the spot late like 9.30pm the weather was on and off with showers during my stay but at 11pm one off the rods goes off had it set to bait runner gave it a moment or too turn and im on i thought it was a jew at first as it did short runs but no head shakes then i was clueless till i saw colour you beauty it was a legal snapper my first ever at 36cm post-9942-029580600 1334295691_thumb.jpg i was chuffed im eating it tonight hummo .

    the night progressed with the livies not being touched they were big poddys at 13cms or so knocked one on the head and took at fillet off him at the end off my stay and belted him in to the distance

    checked this bait it was still there whacked it out again as i was packing up then she goes off again she run under light drag for about ten metres then stopped i thought i lost it turns out it ran for cover in weed i just waited could feel it pulseing through the line 1min later shes out and coming towards me turns out to be a nice bream didnt fight like most bream at 38cm heres a picpost-9942-065604300 1334296137_thumb.jpg cleaned the fish and made the long trek home

    got an x trail 08 petrol model tows my 4.5 metre half cabin glass boat fine towed the boat from liverpool to home then to penrith thus far
