Any ways the brother-in law and I went made a trip out to the Banks out from Shoalhaven on Saturday morning and we were not disappointed. Launched the boat at 6.30am and headed straight out, 2k's from the hump we started to troll some xmas tree lures and with in 5minutes boated 3 bonnies. When we reached the Banks the action hotted up. We were jigging red and fluro knife jiggs straight down in 30 - 80m of water with each drift over the hump. We hooked up to 4 kings 69cm through to 80cm and 5 more bonnies. Those kings do fight dirty. We were using 30lb overheads and it was like just hang on. Back at the ramp by 11.00 cleaned the fish, fed the pelicans, washed the boat and in bed by 12 noon. PS.
