lanchong
I thought the same, they are a protected species????? Cheers Martin PJ sharks are not protected like grey nurse sharks. They're actually very common, maybe too much for some anglers.

insolent
The Wobbegong has a bag limit of two and I think their breeding areas are protected (or used to be), don't think there are any restrictions on PJ's. I think of them as the puppy dogs of the shark world, harmless and kind of friendly. Then again maybe I'm losing it. G`day Fellas , Kangaroo , Emu, Croc , ahhhah , well OK. But to eat the puppy Dogs of the Sea .......well , could you eat one of your dalmation puppies soon after birth , Yuk , I`d rather Kiss a greenie . Mick I answer a phone and Mick beats me with the puppy of the sea comment. Cheers
Bashir
they aren't protected at all. I kept one a number of years ago and the stench when cleaning it was so bad that we turfed the whole thing out.
OWZAT
G`day Fellas , And their eyes are so cute Too. I guess if you skinned a big one , you could stretch it over a table and play chess on it. Mick
