popeyepete Posted October 2, 2006 Share Posted October 2, 2006 G'day Raiders, Caught some time on the Harbour this morning to wittness the biggest school of Salmon and what ever what was below them i have ever seen. Must of been the size of football field, landed a dozen and sent them back into the water. They started outside on north head and and kept close to the cliffs drifting back into the harbour, several schools broke up a few times but them congregated into one huge school, the fish seemed to be ontop of each other they were that thick. They ate anything you threw at them from SP to HP. Plenty of boats out there so fun enyoyed by many. They seemed to be feeding on small whitebait. Sorry too much fun to take any pics.
