trentski Posted March 4, 2007 Share Posted March 4, 2007 I haven't tried Penn but I love my Scotty 1050. It depends where you are going to downrig though. Biggest difference is a vertical spool to a horizontal spool I have always use scotty's and they have served me well There has been much discussion on this subject and im sure if you run a few searches you will find some good threads.
