arpie Posted June 23, 2007 Share Posted June 23, 2007 Hi guys I am looking at getting a waterproof camera - am looking at the Olympus & Pentax varieties Pentax Optio w20 & 30 and Olympus MJU 725 & 770 Anyone got any info on how easy they are to use?? With it being shockproof you dont have to worry about it being bashed around and the underwater stuff on it is great..... GregH Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 My friend has the Olympus Waterproof Camera and we took some great shots of the kids in our pool both above & under the water. Because it is shockproof we were throwing this camera around in the pool - no problem. The only disadvantage is the zoom is not really powerful, however for the purpose it was great. I already have a pretty good camera so I can't really justify to but another camera right now. But if they improve the zoom, I'll be buying one for sure !!!! Still to try it underwater while fishing or snorkelling due to the weather But it has loads of cool features and different settings, all you could want.
