My lovely partner Mrsswordie has been in hospital since yesterday :(

She is in a great deal of pain atm as her back has decided to throw in the towel.

Donna will be offline for a bit until this problem is rectified.

Please wish her all the best in her time of need.

Regards Stewy

Always bad news to hear of anyone suffering from such a debilitating illness.

Hope that you have a speedy recovery and get back to your regular routines :1fishing1:

From someone that has had Mylograms, traction, manipulations, depo-medral injections, back braces and the like, it is not a very pleasant experience, especially in the cold climate.

Cheers and best wishes from all of us here in the Solomons.

Carl & Martha & family.

Backs aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhh

Another fault that we are stuck with.

Good luck Donna I hope all is well in the long run

Dave

Mrs Swordy,

Get well - Mrs Rabs knows exactly what back problems are all about.

PS : Is it me or is there a recent tendancy for raiders to impersonate PIRATES (yes I did yell) within some of the threads at the moment. Davemmm and brickman are examples. :biggrin2:

Cheers,

Rabs

A very big thanks to everyone who has posted wishes here and sent me emails and personal messages.

I am back on my feet again and feeling fabbo. I was discharged today. A  for the special staff at St Vincent's Private Hospital for their excellent service - nursing, catering and allied health.

Now back to business - there appears to be some naughty boys around at the moment :pokey::whip::04::08::adminpower:

I will be contacting the invigilators to organise our MROCP course and looking at our hairtail weekend details that is coming up very soon.

Watch for news on the sponsors tuna day scheduled for this Sunday - weather gods are not being kind so far are they grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Once again thanks all :biggrin2:

hehehehe I was instrumental in getting the 'light diet' changed from the likes of 'creamed brains' to "chicken & asparagus" back in the early 80's!! That had to be a bonus!!

OMG!! Salmon & Fillet Mignon - how do I book in??? I don't even get that at home ..... and I'm the cook!!!!! :1yikes:

Roberta the food was sensational. As you know I have worked around hospitals for 30 yrs. The choices were excellent and all food was served hot and fresh.

We were even offered various types of coffee, barista style!! I guess that is why I will NEVER give up my top health cover. Choice of specialist and hospital services is well worth it when ill.
