Ray R
G'day Raiders, just got back from a quick arvo fish, went for a luderick hunt today and found plenty. I scored some nice fish and one was quite large at 44cms, measured and photographed and back in he went. I kept 5 out of the 13 I caught today, had a real fun time as there were plenty to keep me busy as there were heaps of downs on both stringy stuff and cabbage. As evening arrived I hoiked out the big gear for a few baits worth and after 2 shovels I decided to pack up. A great arvo with a stack of nice fish.. james7
WOW! Plenty of quality fish Ray! The biggest one was a real thumper! Thirteen fish in a "quick afternoon session" ... amazing! And how's the "serenity" in that second photo? Beautiful shot, except that your mate "Rod" sneaked into the photo again! Cheers Peter

Yes, the weather report last night indicated BIG swells coming from the south over the next few days!! Channel Nine News now indicates swell size & direction on their evening 6pm news. Very interesting Cheerio Roberta

Keflapod
G'day Ray, Every time I see great shots like yours and thumping big blackfish like that, it reminds me of my days on the rocks. Entire days from 8:30am to sunset. Whether the fish were biting or not, the cameraderie and rivalry between the gang was worth waiting all week for. On the rocks, every dog has his day and yes, we were all dogs! Well, figuratively speaking of course. We kept the barking to a low growl and never bit eachother. Everyone was my pal. OK - no more canine references..... Thanks for the report Ray and nice photos and the nostalgia... Tony
