Kooks
I've found a decent deal on some BERKLEY POWERBAIT SQUID JIGS. I usually buy Yozuri or Yamas. The Berkleys are scented and designed in japan...so they could be ok. Has anyone used or had experience with them?
Robofish
I have used the small redhead lumo with good results

Robofish
I think 1.8 (but definitely less than 2) in the estuary. It used to be my go-to jig in darkness and really glowed well once charged up by the lantern
aidanhoh
Likewise, I have a few of the red head glow Berkley jigs in size 2, 2.5 and 3, and they have all caught squid in Sydney Harbour recently for me.
dhype
Love them.. they work great and I have caught hundreds of squid with the 1.8 and 2.5 sized ones in pink + the black colors. There are plenty of guys on these forums who use these jigs to great effect. Cheap to buy - I picked up 20 or so jigs at $3 each!!! Bargain! ( still prefer them Diawa MD jigs though!) kyngfish
Were did you buy the jigs for $3, did you have to buy in bulk?
Martyy
Last night off the jetty, had 2 smaller squid chasing a pink Shimano EGI around but not taking it. Put on a berkly blue jig same size and caught them both on consecutive casts? Was very surprised !!
