Anyway , bought a new red net and wanted to see if it is any good..... yup... works great on the botany bay squid Headed to Towra and my good mate Mr flatty was there to greet me. Plenty of smaller fish jumping on the lures too.. Few great hours on the water resulted in a decent feed for the family... Glad to be back and straight on the boat! Also what technique do you use for squiding that gets them going so well? All the lures can been seen in the pictures ... 2.5 orange berkley powerbait jig and a 3.0 red yo zuri . If you shop around you can find the powerbait jigs for about $8... I paid less than $3 !! They do work really well for me even though they are made in some 4th world country instead of Japan. Throw them out.. wait till it nearly hits the kelp beds and slowly work it bAck.. Too easy.
