Sydneyfisher12 Posted November 12, 2014 Share Posted November 12, 2014 G'day raiders Last tow days I've been targeting blackfish at my local Tuesday I was using string weed Went down at 4:30pm and it was slow not even a down for an hour. I moved a couple of times and eventually got a good down and I was on straight back in same spot on again back in again and I'm on but this fish swallowed the hook so I spent 10mins trying to get the hook out I had no pliers and it was my last hook I eventually got it out but the fish went off the bite I fished for another 2 hours and pulled a 40cm fish right at the end Wednesday I was using cabbage and some old string Went down today with Gianni we arrived at 4:20am. Again we spent 1 hour with out a fish I eventually got a down and hooked up and then Gianni got a 43cm fish. We were getting heaps of downs but weren't hooking up we found out they were only small fish and we landed about 5 undersized fish and then Gianni got a legal one I hooked up right at the end on a good fish had the net under him and pulled the hook he got away anyway we finished up Great two sessions I'm loving blackfishing it's so fun seeing that float go under and then hooking onto a good fish Cheers sydneyfisher12 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
