luderick -angler
When do the black fish disappear or are they around all year? Nice fish! You will get luderick all year round in varying places and numbers. Summer to Early autumn sees the big runs on the ocean front particularly around Xmas. Some r and d will see you get fish all year round

Mike89
I am calling it a sawtail surgeon run wham bam thank you ma'am Chasing luderick the other day I saw a big black fish that kind of looked like a luderick cruise by the sea bushes around the oyster lease. But it was so big I don't know if it could have been a blackie. The way it turned and moved also didn't seem very blackfishy. It was at least 50cm and maybe even 60cm. Maybe a surgeon?
