Fishing license question

Hi all,

i am going for a fish tonight with some friends who never have fished. I just want to know if era fill out a license for them both on my phone online will the receipt I get be alright in case we get checked?

Yes, you will get a receipt number online,  and anyway its all in the system,so no problem if you get checked.

I'm not so sure that's correct, if we don't have our licence on us we get instantly fined down here. I believe you can save the licence on your phone, in saying that I've never been asked to show a licence but have had fish checked.

My understanding of the below is your fine if can show receipt number aka via phone

"Evidence of payment is your receipt number, which must be able to be produced if requested by an authorised officer (until you receive your receipt in the post)."

just email the reciept to yourself when you finish paying for license

If you download the services nsw app you can get your fishing licence on there.  It is the first online licence you can use. Soon all our licences will be on our smart phones.

I like QLD, NT, ACT, SA fishing license solution very much - it is free in most cases.

have shown receipt on phone before and had no issues, good bloke though might be different if u get a peanut pull u up
