Scratchie
Definitely a lot of sunburn for one flatty! But it happens! At least you were out doing what you love best! Hopefully you weren’t dehydrated out there??? ? cheers scratchie!!!

Berleyguts
But you got one of the target species and a decent one at that... better than my 9 hours offshore last week for none of my target species! Was that at Swansea? Edited February 11, 2018 by Berleyguts
rickmarlin62
bottom half of lake Wangi southward...most of the guys that actually landed a flatty caught their fish before 9am then nuffen...rick
Berleyguts
My club (St George Sportfishing Club) had their annual Swansea flathead day on Saturday (and Sunday). Unfortunately I was in Sydney for a birthday party. I don’t know how they went. I usually drift the channel fishing with lures and live poddies. Berleyguts
I’ve seen some crackers come out of the channel. Back in the late 70s/early 80s, spinning with long big bibbed deep diving minnies was the go. And they used to gaff them! My, how times have changed! My PB (87cm) came out of the channel, on a poddy.

Ribs
Good lizard there Rick , nothing beats the feeling of a good flaty smashing your plastic. How deep did u get him? Surprising there wasn't more about, but that's life?
