FishermanSteve
Another long gap between posts, but here it goes. After many visits to a beautiful spot in Seaforth(land based) I was able to add a new species to the list. Although not a fish it was lovely to catch. My first blue swimmer. After checking the bag size and limit I decided it would make beautiful lunch. Caught while using a strip of squid. It was my last cast and was swearing as I thought I was reeling in a lump of wood. That's until it neared the jetty. I saw the beautiful colours and quickly swung it in before it had time to make an escape. Seaforth is a magical spot, I'm not one to hide spots. So if you are land based and want to try it, message me privately and I can ping you the map of the spot. Species caught are good bream, leather jacket and trevs. I have also seen some big Flathead caught.
kingie chaser
Well done Steve, I recall bringing in my own 1st blue swimmer catch I how it added to a great xmas lunch. Kudo's on mentioning the spot as well! This is what fishing reports is all about. If your not going to mention the area then its not really a report really?
