Plus, you're just as likely to strike a good run of fish in the middle of the day, than dawn or dusk.

This is another major reason why I love blackfish. Any time of the day will produce, no need for those 330AM kingfish starts!

I would have to say Morwong!
Nah, just joking lol 😂

Chasing big snapper on soft plastics with light leader, for me there is no better feeling. The planning and preparation of your gear, drift, conditions, jig type, choice of lure and the ability to work the sp correctly. Then to get the ferocity of the take from an XL snapper is angling at it’s finest.

cheers scratchie!!!

You look like a morwong Jeff 😂

Same as KB and Green Hornet, Blackfish.

I like the challenge, the gear, the tradition and the rouges gallery of characters I've met along the way.

Like these guys, Blackfish are my thing.

Throw in memories of being taught by and fishing with my Dad .....

Why would I do anything else, for me all bases are covered.

cheers, stu.

330am starts for kingfish, I don't put the boat on the water untill at least 10am, kingfish can be caught virtually anytime here.

After witnessing some BIG flattys being caught on the flats in under 2 metres they have to be right up there with my favorites for catching eating and the places you fish for em, considering ive caught a 80cm plus flatty in half a metre 🤩

My favorite eating fish is dollie IF cooked right

Whats your favorite eating fish?

When they are about, definitely blue swimmer crabs.  Don’t have to venture far, calm estuary waters, hand reel in the rod holder and wait to hear it spin. Can fish for them with my kids, on my own or with a mate while drinking beer watching the sun set.
