  • leonardgid changed the title to singer oil , is it ok to use for fishing reels ?

It can be used but depends on how often you plan to service your reel. Organic oils will cake up exposed to salt. You will get more longevity out of using products like inox or silicon based oil lubricants.

I've tried numerous oils and greases over the years and these days find the Inox products hard to beat.

MX5 oil in the needle nosed bottle and MX6 grease suit my needs perfectly.
