REELCRAZY
Hey raiders. I feel like sometimes we focus so much on our boats, buying them mods and toys, that we forget about our trailers that carry our boats around. With lockdown putting the brakes on my boating I am giving the trailer a full overhaul. Dropped into the local tyre shop where they supplied me a bunch of old ones and proceeded to drop the boat onto stacked tyres in the garage. Completely stripped her down and have ordered new hubs, bearings, some new rollers, reflectors, new lights, jockey wheel, and some black Sunraysia rims. Took the wire brush drill attachment and went to town on the old girl (1993) for a solid weekend removing any surface rust and flaky bits. A good dose of rust converter and a soapy bath and she was ready to paint. Etch primed and top coated the trailer has a new lease on life. One last coat today and will start to reassemble. Now I can get back to buying the boat new toys knowing she is been carried in style.

REELCRAZY
It’s painted with epoxy enamel mate. I have used it alot before repainting a few tinnys and another trailer. Holds up very well and does not chip easily.
