Tackle shops around Brooklyn/Berowra/Gosford NSW?

Hi Guys

I am new to the forum and I consider myself brand new to fishing after taking a break for 33 years,  so gone back to basics as i adopt this wonderful past time once again.

My question for now is are any members able to recommend a decent tackle shop around these ways that isn't one of the big non personal shops.
Nothing wrong with either just looking for something with better service, quality gear and knowledge of the local area.

We are not allowed to name them because of Fishraider rules.

There are few on the Central Coast, you will have to Google them.

There is one at Budgewoi.

Unfortunately many of the good old tackle stores went the way of the dodo because of those big chain stores .

Not a personal recommendation and not 100% sure they’re still trading but you could try  :

Flick and fish at thornleigh 

West Gosford bait and tackle at west Gosford .

Windybanks at Mt Colah.

There is / was another one on the corner of pennant hills rd and castle hill rd ( aka Thomson corner ) never been in there though .

The one at West Gosford is closed.

The one at Mt.Colah I believe closed last year.

Some of the shops that are listed in the Yellow Pages have closed.

There is one at Long Jetty also.

thanks guys, for context I like supporting small businesses instead of the large chains that tend to run the smaller ones out of town.

Windybanks closed around 5 yrs ago I go to one at pennant hills and castle  hill rd I have no problem recommending them

I forgot. There is one at Toukley on the main St.
