Half a bonito head “snapper secrets”

I remember hiring a video back in the day called “snapper secrets” where half a bonito head split down the centre was used as bait for large snapper. Anyone ever try this? Or use bonito heads as bait

I heard of salmon heads for snapper. I use bonito heads for small sharks and jewfish.

I’ll use live bonito for bait for big kings. But definitely a slimie head is a gun bait for big snapper!

Taken on a half a very big slimy  and yes ive caught them on small bonny heads

Whiting heads to sorry forgot to mention that. Or chunks of whiting. King heads are a nice shark bait to 👍

Yeah in SA.

Whiting heads are often used to catch big Snapper.

As a regular SA snapper hunter (when they are not banned...)  I second the slimies!

.. but big ones we smoke (Beee---uuuu---diffuuuullll)
