Pickles
Set off this morning from Colo / Lower Portland (with some blessed bananas) , to fish the upper Hawkesbury for first time since the last flood. We set off at dawn and fished the run in tide down to Wisemans ferry, then all the way back on the run in. The tidal difference was .3m, so should have been excellent, however the fish didn’t want to come out to play in numbers expected. Total catch for the day was one legal dusky (49cm) a decent bream (42cm) and too many hungry baby Jewies to count (even caught 2 on one hook) - looking good for the future though. Still a lot of damage and repair going one - gotta really feel for those impacted.

AlbertW
Good on you pickles! The baby jewies are also getting pretty active in the harbour, I've met a lad who caught 4 in one hour on soft plastics
