Rebel Posted November 8, 2022 Share Posted November 8, 2022 Hi All, Hit the beach around 7am for a Fish & a swim. Top weather. As I walked down the beach for a swim there was a small girl playing on the edge of the surf with her bucket & spade. Thought nothing of it at the time. The water was great. Had a swim. Walked back up the beach & notice this little girl crying. Looked around no parents. I looked at the surf, not a good place to be when you are about 4 years old. I said to her where is Mum ? All of a sudden she said there was her Mum, sitting on the Beach, you guessed it on her mobile phone. I was speechless . Left the Girl & walked away. There was more to this story, but I am still shaking my head. Meanwhile back at the Ranch I went fishing. Caught 4 nice Whiting for the neighbours. Gear. Penn Prevail 2 10ft with Kastking red mono 6lb. Long shank hook & small sinker. Beach worms for bait. What was that saying. It doesn't get better than this. I would like to see Faceache, Twaddle, and all of those dumb arse websites shut down for a week. Some parents just don’t understand the power of the waves, even right on the edge in ankle deep water.
