Scooter0069 Posted January 10, 2023 Share Posted January 10, 2023 Finally got to go for a fish on Sunday morning took the next door neighbour got a early start look like the wind might have dropped off over night was looking to head south but as we headed out just as the sun was coming up we were greeted by a lumpy sea and a strong wind decided to play it safe and hang around the Bate Bay and see what the wind would do using the sea anchor we were able to get the lures to the bottom first drift plenty of spikes and one nice blue spot and the wind had picked up spent the next few hours drifting across the Bay trying our best to keep the lures on the bottom catching plenty of spikes and a couple of flounders and two more blue spot keepers wasn’t the best day but the neighbour got a feed and it was better than going to work 13 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
