thanks make sense they say don't take women on a boat, redheads also my wife comes fishing with me and is a redhead. That's I don't get many fish.

😆 got a good laugh at some of those old superstitions! The bare breasted lady had me in stitches! It apparently shamed the sea into calmness - more like the sailors were to busy perving on the lady to notice the sea conditions!
I heard or read somewhere that the main reason bananas were banned from ships was the gas they let of causes everything else to go rotten.
