faker
Does anyone know any land based that has good parking that is not clifton gardens/balmoral for fishing? I want somewhere that is in north sydney but out of the way. Also has anyone tried northbridge sailing club?
Bluebenbomb
Have you tried little manly? Pretty sure it has free parking, but it's like a 3 min walk or less from the parking area.
Pickles
Hey @fakerCanae point is hardly ever fished, easy access from Quarantine station and some great fishing - caught big Flatties, tailor, salmon, kingfish and at the moment (late February) Bonito. Also lots of yellowtail close to the rocks. Also around the old Manly marine land aquarium, around the old gasworks are also productive spots. It has a few benches where you can sit/set rods up on. By the way, you aren't allowed to keep invertebrates and stuff from there (picture below).
Bluebenbomb
P.S You may be allowed to catch squid and what not on the left hand side of the point (it's not included in the aquatic reserve) but the picture is rather ambiguous so personally, I wouldn't take the risk. Funfishing
can you access canae point on foot or only by boat?
scottyboy
Pickering point, Bentley Bay, clontaf Beach north side, all good spots. Get a map mate and start looking, there are many amazing spots in the middle and proper harbour. Time to go exploring brother
