A month of fishing

Recommended Posts

Been fishing a few times, first time for redfin with my nephew, who caught the only fish in a quick sesh at the local river, on a 38mm diver.

We did Bateman's bay, caught two flathead undersize, a decent trevally, and my bro lost a big flatty on the shore.

Went kayaking for redfin on Saturday, at the local again, got 4 redfin, biggest going 30. I lost one bigger one. Again on the 38mm diver.

Went bass fishing at Nattai Creek Dam today, caught a 39cm bass on a chartreuse igajigchatter, 1/4 ounce.

Thanks for your post jaybez. Where is your local for Redfin? Very healthy-looking specimen in your picture. I am just curious as I can catch Redfin near home. If you don't wish to disclose the info in the open forum you may wish to PM me.

Cheers, bn

Just at the wollondilly, all along. No shortage of redfin at all.

Greatfeedback @jaybez, 30 is solid Redfin (and good eating) and that is a solid looking Bass - well done. Keep the reports coming.

Thanks pickles, yeah pleased with it, was my first bass. Actually got another today at pejar dam, 15 minutes from town. Went 46.5.
