Hey Roberta
What a great report. It's like being there with you. As usual, your report & pics make me want to grab my rod & head off NOW never mind my turn will come soon
Congrats on the PB & I look forward to your next escapade
I've been watching the number creep up (not all that slowly!)
Well done to all the Raider Admin team
& to all the new Raiders who have joined what is going to be THE place to chat, share, discuss & get informed in Australia.
Time to celebrate

I also still have my 1st rod & reel - still with the original mono on it My Father bought for me at servo down in Nowra back in 1969 - a Diawa rod & matching reel. I have also recently found my 2nd rod - a Butterworth who ever the reel is missing. Have had this floating around with me in serveral shed as I moved house for 30 odd years.
I truly hope that the independents listen to the people & are not pushed about by the blind & impetuous greens. What has been threatened by them is blind stupidity - they wish to take our rights away - the lively hood of all those who sponsor & support us.
Anyone who did not think before they voted will get exactly what they deserve - a well stocked fishery with no one to take their spot on the harbor ... because you wont be allowed to fish there!
My only hope is to rent my boat out ............. anyone want to be taken out on the harbor for new years eve? going cheap
you kill me Grant
I will have to make an excuse to fly up & see if we cant find that big Jew in the river out back of your place & perhaps have a few beers as well
The other option would be to get another hitch insert (not the reciever) with a higher mount point. I had to do the reverse with my Pajero. You can get them through any HR distributor.

Hey Roberta
thanks for the coffee & chat - its always great to catch up with you & it was great to finally meet Keith. Glad he is on the mend.
I will be looking forward to my next "work" trip to Forster & hope the weather will be kinder to us so we can hit the water & compare our new rods.
Welcome to FR - these are the friendliest people. There are so many with an abundance of knowledge & more than willing to share. I am looking forward to your first post to brag about your latest catch.
all my love & support Roberta - let Cath & I know if we can do ANYTHING for you. I will be up in Forster next week for work - PM or call me if you need a hand with anything
Hey mate - I'm not an expert, but should you have water proofed the timbers before you put them in? as its going to be hard to protect them even after you glass it in
by the way - you are doing a bang up job so far well done
its all good fellas'!
I used ABC boating & did my course at Windsor RSL. but initially I googled it. PM me if you want anymore details - I'll be happy to help
