Don't you bleed it first up, easier for the fish to pump the blood out than try to get it out of a dead body

Bugger
Hope it comes good, if not put up what you've lost and you never know what people have laying around that might help you out!

Is it the carbys as well?I understand my 40hp is the same block as the 50 and 60, but it's in the Jets. Never looked too far into it as I'm on max hp anyway
Edit, punctuation and context

Can you, or anyone tell me, do you just go out to a certain depth/distance and troll around with your fingers crossed or is there a specific area to concentrate on?
It's about putting the puzzle together, previous info, looking for currents, temp breaks, radio chatter, birds and MOST importantly bait!
Then reacting to the information you can gather to find the best area.

To keep the heat,
What is targeting small kings about?
The answer, lack of confidence.
Once you put a bait in the water you're in the game, be ready.
Kings will eat a livie near half their length, seriously disappointing when a foot long livie results in a throwback. The same bait will be good enough for any King plus anything else that could be there.
Be ready for the big one, it might be there on your first shot, have the gear to land it!

Not the most reliable source

The 70-80 seems to be the go, I'd put lines in well before that though.
Good luck out there

The hook set is suspect number 1, it needs to be straight,
a hook can get turned in a crimp
Off set hooks
Hook turned around and hung in the leader
Etc
If you remove everything and tow the twisted line, it will untwist itself pretty quick

Same down south yesterday, best we found was good bait in 40 off Wollongong, cooler and empty out wide.
A pretty crazy multi directional swell in the morning though.

I've never gone well in the dirty water.

First thing to find out is if the mackerel are in town when you get there. If they haven't made it yet no need to worry.
And 1 hook is all you need on the livies.
*I only fished SWR for 1 week in February a number of years ago. Caught Marlin fin dollys, no mackerel - no bite offs

You might be paddling until August thoughOr, ooorrr paddle until you find a dead cuttlefish floating on the surface. Cut it into strops and send that down. Works a treat (seriously a true story, i swear)
But yer dido on the squid, if only i could catch them consistently...

Hi, looking for anglers, 4 in total, to fill a game fishing charter out of Wollongong on Friday.
Shoot me a message for more details.

Give up on it. Once something is unreliable you can't get it back

You might find if you run it a bit longer a thermostat will open and your hot water will cool down.
An alarm will sound if it's really on the way to overheating
-
Yeah, if I knew I could have bogged it in the arse and got home.
Lucky enough I got home on the electric both times

Did they belong to a group that will be asking for donations all summer or privately owned?

Get 2 $200 combos.
A plastics casting outfit, say $140 rod $60 1000 size reel. The reel doesn't work that hard on light line
And a bait outfit $60 rod and $100 reel.
And change in your pocket. Life's good

Were you in 1 metre at the time?
I had one that got stuck on .4m at random intervals, it was replaced under warranty.
Try the customer support line, they are pretty good.

Some clean blue water and kind winds
-
slight hijack, but is the transducer installation related to why my picture looks a bit rubbish?
That looks familiar, give some details

It's a piece of the puzzle, check em out see if anything is doing.
Overseas once, if you found Dolphins going with the wind there was usually a striped Marlin tailing amongst them. Haven't found that here yet but fish are fish
