  1. Not sure on pricing. There is a trailer place at Pendle hill that were good with prices

FYI, they moved to new premises in the 7 hills industrial area

  2. Lots of great fishing accessories don't come from the tackle shop.

Try Wiltshire kitchen scissors from ww for $12.95 great for mono up to 400 pound, clipping skip bait fins. Even 2 pound braid when they're new.

Dental floss for rigging small bait

  3. The transom is engineered to a strength, that strength is higher than the max power that the rated outboard can give.

Push the HP over the rating and when you bury the nose in a wave you have higher pressures on the transom and the rest of the structure of the boat. Over time this would break down the boat.

If it was ok to put s 40 on it the plate would say 40, but it doesn't.

  4. I had a similar problem till I raised the sensor up. The tail is caused by sensor too low.

Yep, your transducer should skim, not gouge

  5. Yes , very nicely done. I'de like to have a crack at making my own. Did you use a lath to tidy them up ?

The original is machined from scratch, if it gets bit, it gets moulded for reproduction. if it doesn't it goes in the big bucket of lures that didn't work.

There's a quite few processes, wood machining is one you will use

  6. I think it was Ambition that dropped a decky onto a boat to help a guy who was solo and hooked up to a solid fish, that was after 3 pm.
