just fish as light as possible mate between 8-10lb line preferly with fluorocarbon leader, plastics work well in the lake....and you cant go past using live pink nippers/beach worms or poddy mullet for bait.

lovely groper mate i get them pretty regular inside the harbour on nippers they are suckers for them give the nippers a shot next time

if you want a prerigged sort plastic ya can use and clean up and restore ya cant go past the squidgies mate check them out

iv never had any problems with either a 6500 baitrunner, stradic, steez or saltist all of them are spooled with braid il never go back to mono/fluoro

go the toyota mate, mazda and jeep parts are to dear....a mate had a jeep for a while the gearbox gave him grief constantly, dunno how reliable the mazda is but i know from owning mazdas previously they aint as cheap on parts as the toyota
