  3. I prefer to not scale the flatheads and peel the skin off with the bones..... Its alot easier with less wastage. Edit: Just found a vid...as follows
  4. A saucer of milk?? No one has ever told you not to eat them.. I really don't care if you eat grub from the bottom of the Citarum River.. But.......getting on a public forum and encouraging people to eat from a river that our food authority has advised against is not cool... Dietary advice: * No seafood caught west of the Sydney Harbour Bridge should be eaten. You should release your catch. * For seafood caught east of the Sydney Harbour Bridge generally no more than 150 grams per month should be consumed.
  5. Captain Cook Bridge is actually over the Georges... But...yeah, i wouldnt recommend eating out of the Parra... Especially when the govt is warning against it. Check out this link.....
  6. Yeah, parra river is a good location to catch them land based... but, I wouldn't eat anything caught there though.... Try under captain cook bridge...the south side.

  9. $900???? Why in the hell is everything to do with boats so expensive here in oz??? For example...a relay i bought the other day was $30..where in the US its a little over $10.. Why...oh why....did i take up this sport????

  12. We forgot the bungs one winter morning at around 1am.. The boat engine decided to seize, murphies law... In the water i went in my undies.... Jeez it was cold...
  13. The drag gets a bit "sticky" after a few uses....
  14. The foam is there so the boat doesn't sink if for some unfortunate reason it capsizes. If you only take it in rivers and such....and you never forget the bungs..(guilty)....and you know how to swim.. then take it out.. Not too sure about legal issues....but yeah...
