G'day mate ......the BOP is pretty big......depends on where you are going. Really big Kingies are caught off White Island and the Ranfurly Banks off Whakatane but I think those are mostly overnighters There are plenty of charter boats around..........I'd pick one if I were you ...Even look on the second page or more of the search http://www.bayofplentynz.com/Search/Search...hing%20charters Ihope this helps Clutch

Hi Roberta, we were in the Waiheke vicinity, at the island just to the south east called Ponui. The dolphins were hunting and feeding. They would catch the Kahawai...and then toss it in the air and catch it again....we werent sure if they were playing or turning them to swallow the correct way?

Hi Guys, went fishing for the firest time in ages last weekend. However we didnt do too well.... I caught 3 fish over 2 days...Lol but we werent fishing very seriously.....more drinking than fishing Hilight was spending an hour with these guys on sunday.......We sure enjoy the dolphins a couple more

Martin there are some great pics there!....and boy did 1975 and Breamhunter get into them or what?!!! I was supposed to fly to Rarotonga that weekend (I work for Air NZ) on staff travel but my coworker travelling companion broke his arm playing rugby and we cant travel while on ACC.....so Hairtail night looked tempting but .....needed a ride. I think I better plan to be at the next one!

Waynie those are a couple of great shots! Love that smile.... and the All Black gear seems to have worked........although only one try??? ...entertaining all the same. All Blacks against the Wallabies matches are always my favourites

Johnno and Kingsrule, I work in Cargo...not baggage thanks for our national airline over here This freighter was a charter....so an extra to our regular traffic and nice to see something exciting. Johnno Iwent to the last formula 1 event in Long Beach California before it went to Cart. As I lived in Canada for 20 years I'm somewhat addicted to Nascar racing and fortunately we have it on Sky here as you probly do. Ive been to a couple of the races in California and would like to do Las Vegas next year
