    Rocket Launcher

Crow, mate if you want to drive to Fairfield you can come and pick up a couple from me, they are quality strong ones, i have no use for them, they were off my downrigger. pm me if you want them They are worth $60 each, you can have em for nothing
  2. Dont forget that League is an QLD/NSW game, most other states wouldnt have a clue who the league bulldogs were, the other codes have states where they are strong and have states where they are weak. Football/soccer is recoognized everywhere, if you ask anyone in Australia who Kewell or Viduka was they will tell you straight away, ask someone from WA or SA who Andrew Johns or Benji Marshall is, they wont have a clue. I love league and am a season ticket holder with the tigers so i have nothing against it. But soccer and only soccer can make a large portion of the country wake up at 1.00am and 5.00am to watch a game of football that wasnt even a final. And dont forget mate, we are part of a larger community which is the WORLD, the world follows soccer, the world watches the soccer world cup, when Australia went well and made it through we earnt respect world wide and were envyed by countries worldwide. And as wayneo stated if you hadnt heard of the soccer world cup before you must be from some other planet cause it is Arguably the largest sporting event in the world.
  3. I also think a section where we can post fishing outings would be great, i mean regurlar outings. For example, i will be going to chase some yf on the weekend, if i posted my plans on say wednesday i might find that a few other raiders are planning a simalir trip, which will then allow us to go out together, great for safety, great for the site, also a good way to meet other members. Its a win/win for everyone. Just an idea

  10. HI Mate, Browns is about 37kms from Botany Bay Heads and around 42kms from PJ Heads, i go out there sometimes in 4.75m alum, i normally will use around 100 letres fuel on my 70hp yammy, thats including a few hours trolling. Here are the co-ordinates 34.02.200S 151.39.500E When going out make sure you have a working radio, flares, epirb and make sure you check all the weather reports, you dont want to get stuck out there if the wind changes and picks up. On the weekends there are plenty of boats out there so if you got into trouble a flare would get you assistance but on weekdays you might be the only boat out there. As mentioned if you can buddy up with another boat it will give you peace of mind. you dont have to head all the way to browns to get some yellow fins, the shelf is around 27km out and you can get plenty there, just keep an eye out for the birds Good luck and let us know how you go

    Engine Probs

Hi Mate, my first boat had a 1980 johnson 140 on it, it was a great motor but it started doing the exact same thing, after a year it got worse and then i found out that the pistons had chips in them, needed a complete rebuild. Hopefully your issue will not be this large, i would get it checked out by a mechanic
  12. nice looking king there mate, well done, great to see there are some winter kings about
  13. same here mate, my mate went out today no yellow fin, just got 2 Striped tuna, both very small. He did say there were birds working though
  14. Kevvie, my mate caught quite a few tailor up off Manly beach, might be worth a try

    Socceroos

I can add a bit onto what wayneo said, i met that useless keeper kalac around 6 years ago when i sold him a house in prospect, he is a rude and arrogant guy, thought he was king shit, then when he went to sell it he came to me and i sold the house to the tenant, he protested paying me the commsion and tried to do the sale behind my back. SO he is also a tightass....i know a few people who have dealt with him in the past and all of them say bad things about him... IN regards to him being a world class keeper, he maybe is, but like kimmorley obviously he cannot step up to the big games and the big moments.....and schwarzy has proved he can in last years penalty shoot out. And also its not just the goal he let in that worried me, what about the cross that he nearly dropped into the goal???

    Socceroos

agree with previous posts, they did a great job, showed the aussie spirit and never gave up. The ref was a blind bastard our fill in keeper was shocking...... Bring on Italy

    Rain

I have found that catching squid is alot easier after rain, and catching kings during rain is awesome, my largest kings have been caught whilst it was raining
  19. Mate, job well done, great report
  20. Sorry about the car mate, hope you get it back without any damage
  21. mate the first boat i bought was a fibreglass 84 model 3 years ago....after 6 months realise that it had been patched up before and start to stress crack everywhere...thank god the motor blew and the insurance payed me out, then i sold the hull for $2500. Now i have a Alum and would never go back to fibre....Stronger hulls, light to tow/drive...cheaper on fuel cause you don't need a big motor... My mate just bought a 2002 bermuda 4.3 metre runabout with a 40 mercury 2002 for $7,000....mate they are plenty of good buys out there... My best mate bought a even bigger bargain saving around $10,000, He got a Stacer easyrider 575 2001 bowrider, yamaha saltwater series 2001-115hp, color gps, color sounder, live bait etc...all the extras....all the rest are advertising at 30k...he paid 18k the main thing is to watch the trading post on the net daily....unlike the paper the ads on the net are released daily. you can grab a bargain
  22. Have to agree with some other comments, viduka is not the quality striker we all think he is, brazil had fewer chances and scored twice, thats the mark of quality strikers, to nail them when they get the opprtunity. All that said the aussies are really playing well, and have grown as a force in international football. I have been a massive soccer fan since i was a kid and this is the best Australian team i have seen...dont be surprised if they go really far in this tounament, but don't lose respect for croatia, they can play really well on their day as we have seen in previous tournaments....world cup and euro cup. Hope the aussies do win and i predict they will by 1-0....with bresciano being the scorer
  23. Pretty fun i must admit
  24. some pretty good pics there guys....where da hell do you find em from..
  25. Laredo, i will be going out a few times from the harbour to the shelf in search of some fins this winter, the boat im going out in is alot smaller then yours but would buddy up if we were both heading out the same day. Am hoping to get out there this weekend
